From the archive that never was
The commercials.
Ten spots, made in the studio. Most are for a toy that did not exist yet, shot the way they would have been if it had — 4:3, film grain, a shopping mall, a cardboard skyline and a hard cut to the logo. The newest one is simply what it looks like now. Sound on.
Columbus Circle
The longest one, and the only one that looks like it played in a cinema. A night city, a rooftop, and something coming up the avenue: a Mega Figure the height of the apartment blocks walks into Columbus Circle. Taxis stop dead, the street empties on foot, and the chest reads megafig.shop. Ends on 500%, 1000%, 1500% and GO MEGA!
Think Big
A Mega Figure stands over a cardboard city while an ordinary minifigure waits at its feet. The range walks through frame — the red build, the wood one, the half skeleton — and the card lands on THINK BIG!
Christmas Morning
Two children open presents by a lit tree. A father holds up a minifigure, and what comes out of the box is very much larger. The family ends up on the sofa with it.
The Mall
Kids sprint through a shopping mall to a MegaFig Shop storefront, figures stacked in the window, a register ringing at the counter. It ends on the shopfront: visit megafig.shop, get yours today.
It Will Be Mine
A Mega Figure stands in a lit glass case in a toy shop window. Two friends drive past, and one of them ends up back at the glass with his nose almost on it, saying the line everybody knows. Ends on the logo.
First Sighting
Two scientists in an open jeep, crossing a sunlit valley. The sunglasses come off, both of them stare, and something enormous walks out from between the trees: a Mega Figure with megafig.shop across its chest. Ends on 500%, 1000%, 1500% and GO MEGA!
T-Rex Breakout
Night, rain, two tour cars stalled by a fence. A cup of water on the dashboard starts to ripple. The people in the cars look up, and a Mega Figure steps out between them. Ends on megafig.shop.
As Seen On TV
The same spot, playing on a console television in a wood-paneled basement. A VCR blinks 12:00, the tapes are stacked beside it and the popcorn is already out.
Go Bigger
A man stares at a very small figure on his bathroom counter and is not impressed. He turns around to find one his own size standing at the mirror, and cheers up considerably. Ends on GO BIGGER.
Go Mega
Two children are building a castle on a table. A third walks in carrying a Mega Figure, stands it next to what they have built, and it is taller than the castle. Ends on 500%, 1000%, 1500% and GO MEGA!
